Jeannie DiazJeannee Diaz
Registered Dietician
Jeannee is a graduate of Idaho State University with a BS in Dietetics. She completed a year internship at St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria, Illinois and has been a registered dietitian since 1986. She is certificated in Childhood and Adolescent Weight Loss Management and has been a Certified Diabetes Educator since 1999. Ms. Diaz has 19 years of experience assisting patients with weight loss, 16 years at Humphreys Diabetes Center in Boise, Idaho and 3 years at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital working with the bariatric program. Her bariatric duties include teaching a monthly pre-surgery nutrition class and facilitating 3 monthly weight loss surgery support groups. Her passions are diabetes education, disease prevention and wellness.

    Breast Cancer Patient Navigator
    Sam Howland, M.S., works with Dr. Grafton as a patient navigator. Her role is to provide patients with information, support, and help with follow-up as they move through treatment. She can review details of diagnosis and plan of care information with patients and family members, explain medical procedures, and connect patients to the wide variety of supportive resources in the community.

    Front Desk Receptionist
    Has been with Advanced Surgical Associates of Santa Barbara since 2006. Aside from answering phones and checking in patients, Micheline also coordinates multiple appointments, other clerical duties. Micheline likes to spend time with her family in her spare time.
